West Virginia Tourism
West Virginia is home to a large amount of sightings of supernatural creatures known as “cryptids”. These creatures have been the basis of dozens of movies, novels, video games, and viral videos. While West Virginia’s number one industry at the moment is tourism, they’re only really attracting one type of tourist: outdoorsy nature-lovers. By advertising their abundance of cryptids, West Virginia could begin to attract a new group of people: horror fans and ghost hunters. With this campaign, I’ve illustrated some of the most well known cryptids WV has to offer and put them on billboards, posters, social media ads, and t-shirts.
